    Innovation and R&D

    While honoring traditional methods, LES METALLIERS CHAMPENOIS have always chosen to innovate and adapt to market and technological advancements. We allocate over 3% of our annual revenue to Research and Development, continuously improving our products and processes. This effort has led to the creation of our Architectural Bronze activity and the development of specialized machinery, alongside securing several international patents.

    Training & Skill Transmission

    At LES MÉTALLIERS CHAMPENOIS, the transmission of skills and expertise, as well as internal training in the company’s specific techniques and practices, are fundamental. This ensures the continuity and excellence of our craft. We have always welcomed several apprentices, allowing them to discover and acquire the basics of our trades from tutors, who are experienced professionals, with the goal of confirming their vocations.

    We also train between 2 and 4 itinerant trainees of the Tour de France who participate in various company projects and are integrated into our teams as part of our partnership with Les Compagnons du Devoir et du Tour de France.

    The companionship system is a traditional centuries-old method of knowledge transfer and vocational training rooted in communities of companions. After a period of apprenticeship on the Tour de France and completing a traditionally called “masterpiece”, now referred to as a “reception work,” the apprentice then becomes a companion.
